So the old urban legend goes, if you look into the mirror and say " Groove Bandits " three times in a row - some time vaguely between the end of October and mid-November - all nine of them will be summoned from the depths of whatever shithole rehearsal room they're drinking sadly in and be transported directly to Shotkickers for their annual Halloween show! But this year, Halloween is coming late: Friday the 13th, to be precise. Close enough is good enough. What could possibly go wrong on Friday the 13th, of all dates? Everything, hopefully. What's the significance of Friday the 13th, you asked (you didn't, but here it is anyway)? Some say it was Loki's mischief. Some say it's some Christian shit about Judas. Some say it's something about The Knights Templar. But you know what we think? It's simply as good an excuse as any to hit the town, drink some dranks, and watch a fucking sick band. Dressing up is encouraged as always - come as Freddy or Jason or whatever, we never saw the movies so we don't know which one is the Friday the 13th dude, but who cares? As is tradition, those who don't dress up will be used as stuffy-guys for the Reap bonfire. You've been warned. (As a sidenote, did you know there are only 12 movies in the Friday the 13th franchise? Missed opportunity right there.) Come for the music, stay for the questionable decisions you're making as an adult. Poor judgment is mandatory.
