Kandinsky Inspired Colour Exploration

This is the second Expressive Art Making workshop in a series of three which aim to encourage the expression of creativity and social connection for community members.
The intention is to promote the health and wellbeing of the community through art making alongside each other.
Participants will be invited to engage with these activities and creative practices with encouragement to experiment and explore the materials with curiosity and imagination.

This creative workshop involves mixing paint to create colour palettes and to explore different pairings that might be contrasting or complementary. Inspired by Russian artist Kandinsky.

This workshop is supported by Hobsons Bay City Council and takes place on Bunurong Country. Woods Street Arts Space is wheelchair accessible, and has gender neutral toilets.

Facilitated by Augustine Ang, a Brimbank based artist and qualified Art Therapist.

No art experience necessary. Suitable for all ages. Children under 12 must be supervised.
All materials provided. Participants will leave with their artwork.
