We are now in Year 3 of the festival, and we are the “Gainesville” festival of Europe. We're even taking it a step further and becoming the greatest tribute to this subculture in this country. The Farewell Youth Fest aims to blend the unique, family-like, and alternative vibe of Dresden’s Neustadt district with regional and international acts. Anyone who associates Dresden only with Baroque chic, picture-perfect idylls, and monday walkers is completely off the mark. In 12 clubs—all within a few minutes’ walk of each other in the Gründerzeit district of Neustadt—you can experience over 150 bands in an unusually intimate atmosphere. Plus, for the first time ever, we’ll be trying to bring punk rock to the Elbe riverboat. More info coming soon. We look forward to seeing you there!
