As part of Wellington Jazz Festival, The Undercurrent presents The David Fromont Quintet! Coming down from Auckland, it's the David Fromont Quintet! David Fromont is a young trombonist from the city of sails making his Wellington Jazz Festival debut this year with his jazz quintet. Having an ear for everything, David will be putting on original compositions and classic jazz arrangements while mixing experimental trombone explorations and true-to-tradition jazz quintet playing. Featuring in his band is Samuel Voyle on the saxophone, Ryan Tomov on the piano, Finn McNeill on the drums, and Minjoon Kim on the bass.
