This course is suitable for intermediate to advanced students. This term we’ll focus on creating a portfolio of paintings that focus on our individual styles and subject preferences. We’ll take a look at the works of various pastel artists and see what gives their paintings cohesion as a body of work. There’ll be time for experimentation and play as well as working on the portfolio paintings. This is an opportunity to take a focused approach and explore who you are as a pastel artist.
