The original show in the hit murder mystery show series by Vancouver Mysteries returns with a special holiday edition on Friday December 11. It's Tony Bennetti's annual Christmas party and you are invited!  Dinner Date With Death, Vancouver Mysteries’ hit Murder is a Drag show is chapter one in the murder mystery series, this original murder mystery is set at a restaurant with some very spicy drama and it's the perfect recipe for comedy dinner theatre! Can you help the detective solve the mystery? The suspects and the detective are drag performers (watch for clues to be revealed during their songs!). Once a year, in December, we stage a special holiday edition of this popular show and it always sells out, so get your tickets soon!  This is not cheesy dinner theatre, it's campy fun! Our home theatre is bar service only (no kitchen) Make plans to eat at Stock and Supply before the show and save 15% on the regular men! Costumes encouraged! $49.95 per person includes general admission seating, all taxes & fees.  Every show includes:  opportunities to win prizes  at least three suspects and a detective  real hands-on puzzles distributed during the first intermission.  musical drag performances incorporated into the plot that reveal clues about the murder! a scripted three act murder mystery show plus interaction/improvisation between the audience and the performers a chance to guess the murderer (every guest can cast their own vote) an opportunity to meet the cast after the show (photo opportunities) Vancouver Mysteries Experience Hosts are there to greet you at the door, introduce the show and provide support throughout (need a hint? have a question?)  Accessibility: the venue entrance is ground level and there is one ground level restroom with additional restrooms one floor below where the theatre is located. The theatre is underground with access by stairs or elevator. There are loud musical performances as well as quieter discussions, low lighting in the room and some puzzles require fine motor skills or ability to read fine print. If anyone in your party has concerns about the lighting, volume levels, or anything else please contact us. Location: 111 West Hastings, under the historic Woodwards Building, a short walk from Gastown steam clock.  Our Home Theatre is KW Studios is run by nonprofit Kokoro Dance Theatre Society. A portion of your ticket has paid for our rental of this space, which supports their mandate to support low-income, non-profit, Indigenous and DTES artists. GETTING IN You don't need to show your tickets - we will have your name (or the name of the person who purchased your tickets) at the door. This venue is 19+: The venue staff will also be checking IDs to verify 19+ age verification.
