NATIONAL MANUFACTURING SUMMIT 2027

Hosted by Weld Australia, the 2027 National Manufacturing Summit will see industry leaders come together in Adelaide on 8-9 June 2027. With the theme Manufacturing Sovereignty: Australia’s Defence Advantage, the Summit will shine a spotlight on the pivotal role Australia’s manufacturing sector plays in strengthening our national security, economic resilience, and sovereign capability. As global tensions reshape supply chains and accelerate the need for self-reliant industrial systems, the Defence industry stands out as both a priority and an unparalleled opportunity for Australian manufacturers. These programs demand precision, reliability, and world-class innovation. They also offer local manufacturers a pathway to scale, diversify, and embed themselves in globally competitive value chains.
