Join us on December 2 for a special Broadway outing as we take in "Here There Are Blueberries," a new play by Moisés Kaufman("The Laramie Project," "I Am My Own Wife," "Gross Indecency") and Amanda Gronich, conceived and directed by Moisés Kaufman. The performance will be followed by a talkback.NOTE: tickets must be reserved by October 25.In 2007, an album of Nazi-era photographs arrived at the desk of a U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum archivist. The photographs weren’t like any that had been seen before. As curators unraveled the truth behind the images, the album soon made headlines and ignited a debate that reverberated far beyond the museum walls. Based on real events, "Here There Are Blueberries" tells the story of these historical photographs—what they reveal about the perpetrators of the Holocaust, and our own humanity.Finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, the New York off-Broadway production received five Lucille Lortel Award nominations and won two, including Outstanding Play.“Precise and intelligent – Here There Are Blueberrieslooks at its subject from an unusual angle.” - Jesse Green, The New York Times“Here There Are Blueberriesmakes the painstaking work of historical inquiry seem like the greatest detective story ever written.” - Charles McNulty, Los Angeles Times“FIVE STARS - This searing drama builds into an unforgettable inquiry, playing out like a profound, innovative and unique detective drama.” - Arifa Akbar, The Guardian“Blueberriesartfully tells the true tale of the pictures and their march through public consciousness.” - Vinson Cunningham, The New Yorker“Masterful.
