Christmas with the Chorale

Description

In our program the joy of Christmas resounds from centuries past and up to the present in compositions by Giovanni Croce, Hieronymus Praetorius, Andreas Hammerschmidt, J.S Bach, Morten Lauridsen, John Tavener, John Rutter and others. The concert also includes favorite carols from around the world, and since many members of our audience love to join the Chorale singing traditional English carols, our director has chosen several for us to sing together. The festive atmosphere will again be enhanced by the accompaniment of the Monterey Bay Sinfonietta.
