Vinyl Nights Trans Family Disco w/ Impala Skate - Feat. Misbehaviour, Illexxandra, Tipyourdj (skate)

COME AS YOU ARE. DANCE AS YOU FEEL. ROLL INTO SOMETHING FABULOUS! 💖🏳️‍⚧️

We're turning up the love, the music & the disco drag spirit for TRANS FAMILY DISCO! ALL LOVE. ALL COLORS. ALL IDENTITIES. ONE BIG DISCO FAMILY!

Nov 20th is Transgender Day of Remembrance - we honor our trans siblings & those lost to anti- transgender violence. This night is about offering care on the day after - bringing us all together in a room and offering connections to local non-profits for care onsite.

This event is in partnership with What Will I Become - a documentary about trans boys, mental health & imagining a way forward. Exploring universal themes on mental health, grief and masculinity - What Will I Become? asks what to do with our community's collective heartbreak and honor that trans people are always more than their deaths. The film is directed by Lexie Bean & Logan Rozos. Check out their website for resources and info https://www.wwibdoc.com/ & watch the trailer here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ni2OOrQ4VZQ&t=31s (Follow them on IG @whatwillibecome\_doc/)

This is an invitation to bring the glitter, the life-affirming glamour, the sequins & your most fabulous disco look for a chance to win skates from IMPALA! DRESS DISCO & WIN SKATES!

Special Skate Lesson at 7:30pm in the middle of the rink with Lexie Bean.

Vinyl Nights at Xanadu is the ultimate throwback to the Golden Era of NYC roller skating — celebrating the music, style, energy and culture that ruled New York’s legendary rinks from the 1970s through the 1990s.

This isn’t just a roller party. It’s a celebration of NYC roller culture — past, present & future & the ways in which queer life has always been a part of it.
