*Spin Desire and The Emerald Planet present Anatomy of a Cry*

French-American artist based between Paris and London, Crystal Murray has been developing a distinctive musical and visual practice since her teenage years, at the crossroads of alternative pop, R&B, electronic music and performance. Daughter of jazz saxophonist David Murray, she explores the connections between identity, heritage, emotions and the body, while resisting aesthetic and cultural labels. With Anatomy of a Cry, her latest six-track project, she examines crying as a physical and emotional expression through sonic explorations of the voice, vulnerability and intensity.

*Anatomy of a Cry* is a special live performance, stripped down, RAW, offering a closer look into Crystal’s musical universe. A night dedicated to raw sounds, artistic expression, and meaningful encounters.

Deuén and Lili Holland-Fricke join forces for a set of songs, improvisation and noise. The solo project of producer, bassist and visual artist Kaiuna O., Deuén blends metallic production, bass and reverb-soaked vocals into tender, unconventional melodies, drawing on 90s R&B, folk and rock. Manchester-based experimental cellist and singer Lili Holland-Fricke explores the edges of her instrument through voice and electronics, balancing noise and melody in dreamlike, gently unsettling songs. Together, they bring their distinct sound worlds into conversation.
