The story depicts the hopeless struggle of a people against the relentless cruelty of the sea. A mother, Maurya loses her child to the sea, and the family is struck with grief, however the more Maurya tries to change fate, it leads her to the very tragedy she is trying to avoid. This piece is resonate of man versus nature, how the sea takes life and yet we rely on it for survival. W.B. "Cat and the Moon" by W.B. Yeats A short, symbolic one-act play that follows two characters, a blind beggar man and a lame man. The two are on a journey to visit a holy well, hoping to be healed of their disabilities. The play explores themes of physical limitation, spiritual awakening, and the contrast between inner and outer journeys, using simple staging and poetic, symbolic language typical of Yeats’ style. Q&A following performance All shows are bilingual with English and Japanese Subtitles BUoy, Kita Senju B1 Theater Access by Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, Hibiya Line, JR Lines, Tobu Skytree Line, From Kita Senju Station, Exit 1 6 minute walk, from West Exit 8 minute walk
