Join us in bringing fun and connections into e-textiles by creating pair of gloves with ‘half a circuit’ of LEDs.Join us for an afternoon of "Wired connections", where we will have some hands-on fun with electronic connections in e-textiles. Each person at the workshop will create a pair of gloves with ‘half a circuit’ of LEDs and decorations on each glove. The circuit will only be completed when two of the gloves are touched together, either by the wearer alone or by forming a circle with the group. The workshop will demonstrate the basics of e-textiles and allow for a lot of relaxed creativity. We will provide all necessary materials and components, as well as offer suggestions for future projects.Everyone is welcome. The workshop will be run by Sophie Nadel (@snart.98, sophienadel.com), a creative technologist who aims to break down barriers to tech by encouraging fun and exploration.
