One Yellow Rabbit PresentsUndiscovered CountryCreated by Chris Bullough with Cannonball Theatre WorkshopAs part of the 2027 High Performance RodeoWhat if one song could save us all?Every legend has a story. Tyler Wainwright Jr. just happens to have one involving fading fame, a complicated family history and the fate of humanity. In Undiscovered Country, Sterling Award-winner Chris Bullough tells the funny and poignant story of a washed-up country star chasing the comeback of a lifetime: a song that might finally make sense of everything. Through original music and poetic storytelling, Tyler’s quest opens onto bigger questions about fathers and sons, the demands of industry and the natural world, and what happens when the things we depend on are at odds with each other. It may sound like a country ballad, but this existential road trip, unpacks Bullough’s own memories of growing up in Fort McMurray in the 1980s and ’90s to imagine a world caught between the past we inherit and the future we’re making.
