Rebel Dykes charts the early underground lesbian scene, from the Greenham Common Women’s Peace Camp in the early eighties to the S&M action and performance wrestling at Chain Reaction, the epochal bi-weekly Tuesday nighter at the Market Tavern from 1987. Longtime Vauxhall dwelling promoter, door whore, singer and polymath Fisch AKA King Frankie Sinatra had a central role in the scene and tells it like it is. MC Driweave remembers the halcyon days of Vixens at the Vauxhall. And legendary promoter Suzie Kruger (TBC) talks about The Clit Club and its cultural ripples. They reflect on their journeys, on marginalisation, community mobilisation, rebellion and celebration. How did they survive, what was it like then and how are they doing now?
