A globe, a moustache, a barber and spaghetti: these are just some of the iconic images from Charlie Chaplin’s cinematic masterpiece, The Great Dictator. Filmed at the beginning of World War II, this political satire incorporates language and sound effects as fully-fledged comic ingredients.
