The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is Africa's first Abbott World Marathon Majors Candidate. Entering its final year of candidacy in 2027, this global city, fast-paced marathon is suited to a range of running enthusiasts from elite athletes to social runners. The weekend extends past the road marathon, and we’re proud to offer inclusive events for all including the 10km and 5km Peace road runs as well as three incredible Table Mountain trail runs - 43km, 22km, and 11km.
