**Dig deeper.** Drawing on 40 years of serious record collecting, Exeter DJ Spider (Wax the Van) takes over 12 Bar for a four-hour Sunday session built around the true art of the long-form DJ set. Beginning with soul and jazz before moving through jazz-funk, Afro, Latin and disco—and into the deepest house cuts of today—Spider will gradually build the music across the afternoon, following the spirit of legendary New York parties such as The Loft and Body & Soul. Don’t expect hands-in-the-air anthems.
