Tadiwa Mahlunge: For The Culture (WIP)

This show is a love letter to the two greatest loves of my life, my lady and stand up comedy - in no particular order. I’ve been doing stand up for nearly 10 years now, so I’m almost done…

Today’s British audience is the most febrile, hostile atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. Let’s have a laugh about it.

Praise for previous work:

As seen on Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Am I The A\*\*hole (Comedy Central), Comedians Giving Lectures (Dave) and BBC Wales, and heard on BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz.

★★★★ "Expect great things from this charming comic." - The Times

★★★★ “Mahlunge is a brilliant, daring storyteller who can see through the ridiculousness of it all” - ThreeWeeks

★★★★ “Young and gifted, in comedy terms, he’s already looking like the complete, fully rounded package” - The Scotsman

★★★★ "The circuit might just have created another Jimmy Carr." - Chortle

★★★★ "An impressively accomplished and infectiously funny hour... a name you'll want to watch out for." - The Skinny

Tour support for Dylan Moran, Ed Byrne, Sam Morril, Joe List, Craig Conant, Kyle Kinane and Simon Brodkin.

"Fearless comedian on the rise." — Daniel Kaluuya

"Very bloody funny." — Aisling Bea

Award Nominee: Leicester Comedy Festival Best Show, Channel 4 Sean Lock Comedy Award, ISH Comedy Best Newcomer.

Named one of Rolling Stone's "must-see" Fringe shows and one of The Sun's "must-see comedy shows" at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Work in Progress.
