The Sportsman have built a cult following for their wildly unpredictable, fully improvised live shows. Frontman Sebastian Hervas-Jones, described by The Observer as a ‘neo-Bard’, adopts personas ranging from Henry VIII to an online gambling Jesus Christ, conjuring up surreal stories entirely in the moment set to the band’s psychedelic sound. Regulars at Brixton’s legendary Windmill, they’ve earned a reputation as one of London’s most distinctive live acts.

Microbanger (Kiki Hardstaff) is silly, pretentious, post-good, and post-post-ironic. Microbanger is the Franz Kafka of having microbangs, smoking in Hackney Wick, and being shot in the back of the head like a horse. Chat shit, get Microbanged.‍
