From the rugged shores of Newfoundland—often called the Far East of the Western World—comes one of Canada’s most beloved folk groups, The Irish Descendants. This holiday season, the multi-award-winning ensemble brings its signature blend of storytelling, musicianship, and East Coast charm to a festive Christmas show filled with warmth and cheer.
Led by the unmistakable voice of Con O’Brien, and joined by Rowen Sherlock, Madeline Carter, and Jeff Kinsman, the group breathes new life into seasonal favourites and selections from their Christmas album.
With over 35 years of experience and thousands of performances, they create more than a concert—it’s a joyful journey of music, laughter, and tradition. Celebrate the season with an unforgettable evening that captures the spirit of Newfoundland and the magic of Christmas.
