Minor Conflict

Bristol trio Minor Conflict make rhythmically driven, harp-infused songs featuring brass, synthesizers, and to-and-fro lyrical interplay. In 2026, they return from a short hiatus with ‘Surveillance Operator’, recorded by Ali Chant at Real World Studios and featuring a propulsive drum performance by Ollie Judge of Squid. The track announces their third EP Residents, upcoming on Fascination Street Records.

Minor Conflict first emerged on Slow Dance’s 21 compilation and quickly built a reputation for compelling live performances, including appearances at Glastonbury Festival, Green Man, and The Great Escape. In 2022, the band signed to PRAH Recordings, releasing two well-received EPs, Bright Lights, Dead City and Parallels, with airplay on BBC 6 Music. In 2026, the band joined Fascination Street Records for their upcoming EP Residents, produced by Ali Chant and featuring collaborations with members of Squid and PVA.
