AyurPrana Listening Room - 312 Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC 28806 Doors 5:30PM || Class 6PM-7PM **The Harmonic Body: A six-week Journey of Movement and Sound** Harmonic Body is a welcoming space for restorative connection through yoga, breath, visualization, sound, and song. Held by the supportive presence of Rosie Mulford and Sarah Louise, participants will be invited to listen inwardly, move gently, and attune to the body, the nervous system, the support of the Earth and the subtle energies that connect us. Rosie has been teaching yoga for decades, bringing deep compassion, wisdom, and presence to her practice. Her teaching is rooted in meaningful cueing and an understanding of yoga as a pathway toward healing, connection, and embodied awareness. Yoga helped Rosie heal the roots of addiction, and her heartening presence offers encouragement and support to every body. Sarah Louise has spent 20 years singing her ancestral folk music and spends her life listening deeply to her body and the Earth. Her singing is responsive and intuitive, attuning to the needs and energy of the people in the room. Sarah is also a yoga teacher, bringing another layer of embodied understanding to this shared experience. Her recorded music has been called “Mystical” by the New York Times and “In tune with the thrust of existence” by NPR. Together, Rosie and Sarah create a magical synergy - feeling into one another’s work and responding to what will best support the group. Their caring presence helps participants connect more deeply with themselves, one another, the Earth, and the subtle dimensions of experience. The session will include: \- Breathwork and guided visualization \- Nourishing yoga asanas and mindful movement \- A journey through the chakras \- Live, intuitive singing and supportive sound \- An exploration of how sound relates to the subtle body and chakras \- Opportunities to discover ways of using your own voice for nourishment and connection There will be invitations to sound and vocalize, but no pressure to sing. No previous singing or yoga experience is necessary. The practice is suitable for all levels, including complete beginners, while offering meaningful depth for experienced practitioners. Come as you are and allow yourself to be held in sound, movement, presence, and community.
