On Friday, November 6, 2026, we celebrate leading supporters of arts & culture in Acadiana with one of our most treasured traditions—Pelican Ball.Hosted at the Acadiana Center for the Arts, Pelican Ball is a signature fundraiser for arts and culture in our region. It is a celebration of everything that makes our cultural community thrive, where we gather to recognize individuals who have shaped the arts through their commitment and service.This year, we are proud to honor renowned cultural documentary photographerPhilip Gould as Member Emeritus.A champion of Louisiana culture since 1974, Gould has dedicated over 50 years to documenting the state's vibrant people and traditions, amassing one of the largest private photographic archives of the region. As a leader and supporter of the Acadiana Center for the Arts, his lifelong advocacy is deeply rooted in Acadiana’s creative community.The perfect date night, each ticket includes food, an open bar, live music, and an evening of electric dancing.
