Description
Counterfilms present’s Souleymane’s Story. A powerful depiction of life on the edge of the Gig economy and the immigration systems. The film follows 24 hours in the life of Souleymane as he tries to keep up with the algorithm as a cycle delivery worker, while at the same time preparing for the interview when his fate as an asylum seeker will be decided by a hostile bureaucracy as inhuman as the a zero hours contract. It questions the systems of labour, the stereotypes of immigrants and the meaning of having a story to tell.
