Sweet Giant - Album Launch

Electric, fierce and unapologetic, SHOW TEETH, the album from Wiltshire-based rock and roll band Sweet Giant, is a powerful debut that arrives to tell us that guitar bands are back and better than they’ve ever been.

A journey into slacker rock, garage folk and guitar-driven power, Sweet Giant holds the touchstones of Kurt Vile’s disarming witticism, Courtney Barnett’s conversational vocal projections, as well as Wednesday’s distorted energy.

'SHOW TEETH' is a collection of songs capturing an honest experience of living through your mid-20's. It gripes with themes of fear and escapism, existentialism, angst and self-morality.

Where do I belong? What comes next? What's it all for? And indeed, (as Annie nods Dr.Suess in 'Mess') What was I scared of?

But through the snarl of teeth and biting guitars also comes a smile. The album has its cheeky and witty moments too, leaving you more hopeful than afraid. The pale green pants with nobody inside them, were, in fact, your friend.
