The United Domestic Workers Association presents… Binibining Migrante 2026. Forget what you know about pageants — our members are transforming the stage into a space of resistance, reclaiming beauty on their own terms. Binibining Migrante ('Miss Migrant' in Tagalog) is a beauty pageant for-and-by domestic workers: all of the candidates are survivors of human trafficking and modern-day slavery. They are bravely using the stage to build back their confidence and feel beautiful as survivors, as domestic workers, as women.Hosted by Filipino entertainer and singer Ela Hidalgo, 10 Filipino domestic workers will be competing for the crown across rounds showcasing their cat-walking skills and hidden talents. Expect glitz, glamour, iconic looks and tears of joy.Meet our 10 candidates:1. Lorgie, from Negros Island2. Jennifer, from Ormoc City3. Brenda, from Urdaneta City4. Lilet, from Masbate City5. Jessie, from Dipolog City 6. Lucimar, from Zamboanga City7. Liza, from Alcala8. Melody B, from Caramines Sur9. Gina, from Quezon Province 10. Binibining Migrante 2026 is UDWA's first beauty pageant and we are so excited that to be working with a film crew to make a short film, “In Our Beauty” (dir. Aria Danaparamita), documenting our journey to the stage. We will be filming throughout the pageant: if you do not want to be on camera, please let us know upon arrival and we will make sure the documentary team is aware.
