Yegor Zabelov, a Belarusian-born, Poland-based accordionist and composer, creates music that pushes the boundaries of his instrument. When he is first heard, it is hard to believe his music comes from a single accordion. The instrument expands into something orchestral, physical and deeply immersive.
Zabelov approaches the accordion not as a traditional instrument, but as a limitless sound generator. His performances unfold as long-form sonic journeys, moving between minimalism, ambient trance, post-rave tension and avant-garde improvisation. The accordion breathes, rattles, whispers and surges in massive waves of sound, transforming each performance into an intense and immersive live experience.
*This event will last for approximately 75 minutes, without an interval.*
