From Black Gravity Dance to his own carefully curated record store, from residencies at Horst to a longstanding dedication to Antwerp’s local scene: DTM Funk has been a constant presence in the city’s musical landscape for well over a decade. His work has always been rooted in the local scene, while maintaining a broad musical and international outlook. His sets are guided by soul, groove and rhythm rather than genre boundaries. Expect percussion-heavy movers, jazz-funk and soul, raw and sensual house cuts, and the occasional unexpected turn into somewhere entirely different. We’re very happy to welcome DTM Funk to Traum on November 13. Expect a broad selection of records, many surprises, and plenty of room to dance.
