Guest artist Grace Bahng Gavin is an acclaimed cellist celebrated for her expressive depth, refined musicianship, and versatile international career as both soloist and chamber musician. Known for her warm tone and compelling stage presence, she has appeared at major festivals and concert venues across the United States, Europe, and Asia, earning praise for performances that combine technical brilliance with emotional insight. With degrees from Juilliard, she was formerly the cellist of the celebrated Blair String Quartet. For this concert, she joins FGCU faculty members Nash Ryder, violin , and Michael Baron, piano , for an inspiring evening of chamber music featuring the rich and expressive piano trio repertoire. Newly appointed to the faculty at Florida Gulf Coast University , Ryder brings fresh energy and artistry to the concert stage, partnering with Baron, whose distinguished career as performer and educator has made him an audience favorite. Together, these three artists offer an evening of vibrant collaboration, lyrical beauty, and captivating musical conversation.
