Falling Doves - 37 Aigburth Drive Release Party

FALLING DOVES: 37 AIGBURTH DRIVE RELEASE PARTY

Falling Doves return to Liverpool for a special night celebrating the release of their new album, 37 Aigburth Drive, bringing together a wildly eclectic lineup of emerging rock talent at Rough Trade Liverpool.

At the center of the night are Falling Doves, whose latest record marks a new chapter after more than a decade of international touring, recording and crossing musical borders. Expect glam attitude, British guitar swagger, big melodies and the theatrical energy that has become synonymous with the band.

Joining them are Kinzalou, the brainchild of Sophie Ekins, a guitar heroine in the making. With a fierce presence and a love of the guitar as a weapon, Kinzalou arrive with the kind of raw, unapologetic energy that suggests there is a much bigger stage waiting in their future.

Next up, Turvey bring the 90s retro throwback axe-rock revival. Led by Liverpool guitarist and songwriter Paddy Turvey, the band channel melodic hard rock and AOR with towering guitar work and arena-sized ambition. Think Van Halen meets Journey, rebuilt for a new generation.

Opening the night are Liverpool’s own No True Name, the screamo wild children bringing a shot of chaos, emotion and youthful rebellion to the bill. Think My Chemical Romance meets Paramore, with the volume turned up and the gloves completely off. The band have been appearing on Liverpool’s alternative and emo circuit, including recent bills at The Jacaranda.

Four artists. Four different shades of rock. One night in Liverpool.
