Destiny and love through ballet
Join Cape Town City Ballet for a spectacular evening of dance under the stars. This exciting triple bill features Swan Lake Act 3, where the seductive and powerful Odile dazzles with breathtaking technique and theatrical flair, followed immediately by a pas de deux of Dracula and Mina from David Nixon CBE’s Dracula. The programme ends with the world premiere of Bolero, a bold new work by choreographic duo Chesney Stanfield and Emile Petersen, created especially for Cape Town City Ballet and set to Ravel’s thrilling score. From classical brilliance to contemporary innovation, this is a celebration of dance in all its power and beauty.
