BOOK #5 The Ice Palace by Tarjei Vesaas READING ROOM is a community book club for young people in London. We're back this time at the Prince George in Dalston where there is a full-service bar. We'll be in the private upstairs room. Doris Lessing said of The Ice Palace: "How simple this novel is. How subtle. How strong. How unlike any other. It is unique. It is unforgettable. It is extraordinary.” A haunting exploration of love, loss and community, Vesaas' lyrical novel portrays the powerful bond that forms between two 11-year-old girls - and a tragedy that changes everything. Book your ticket now to reserve your place. Please DM us on our Instagram page @readingroomldn if you have any questions. See you soon,Martha and Flo x
