In Julius Caesar, political ambition and betrayal shape the fate of Rome, but beneath the struggle for power lies a revealing portrait of a society where women’s voices are often ignored. As the celebrated general Julius Caesar returns in triumph, a group of senators - led by the conflicted Brutus and the calculating Cassius - plot his assassination in the name of protecting the Republic. Yet characters such as Calpurnia and Portia offer insight, warning, and moral clarity that go tragically unheeded by the men who control Rome’s political stage. Julius Caesar becomes not only a story of political upheaval but also a reminder of the cost of silencing the wisdom and intuition of the less powerful and vulnerable in society.
