Description

Witness the next generation of Hawaiian music masters take the stage at the Slack Key Show. Hosted by Shem Kahawaii, a talented slack key guitarist, and falsetto singer carrying on the tradition of his mentor, George Kahumoku, the evening shines a spotlight on rising star Anthony Pfluke. A Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award nominee is 8 categories just this year (2026) alone, Pfluke captivates audiences with his multi-instrumental skills on the ʻukulele and guitar, alongside soulful falsetto and original songwriting. Enhanced by the graceful hula of Wainani Kealoha, this show delivers a captivating and authentic cultural experience through masterful music and heartfelt stories.
