The Style Council and Paul Weller drummer extraordinaire released his first solo album on Acid Jazz in March 2026 A glorious tribute to his jazz routes and filmic influences, which features an imaginative reworking of TSC’s ‘My Ever Changing Mood’ The Trio are: Steve White, Chris Hague and Joel White Considered one of the best drummers of his generation, Steve is of course best known for his long association with Paul Weller. He first played with the Style Council at the age of 17 on the hit single ‘Long Hot Summer’ before becoming a permanent member. He continued on through Weller’s biggest solo albums such as Wildwood, Stanley Road, Heavy soul and As Is Now. 18+
