Community crafting for LGBTIAQ+ young adults living with and beyond cancerSunday 6th December | 2-4pmThis event is running in partnership with OUTpatients, the UK's LGBTIQ+ cancer charity. If you're a queer young adult living with or beyond cancer, please join us for a relaxed afternoon of crafting and a cuppa. No crafting skills are required. We'll provide materials for collaging and badge-making but you're welcome to bring any other bits and bobs you'd like. Whether you come solo or bring a +1, we're very excited to welcome you into the space. What is Queer Cancer Club?Queer Cancer Club is a patient-led community space for LGBTIAQ+ young adults living with and beyond cancer. Who is this event for?LGBTIAQ+ young adults (18+) living with and beyond cancer (and their loved ones / plus ones)There is no upper age limit. If you describe yourself as a queer young adult who's experienced cancer, this space is for you. What to expect:Badge-making & collaging (materials provided)Tea, coffee, and snacks (v, ve, gf, halal, and allergy-safe options)An OUTpatients stall with the charity's resources Bring a +1+1's are welcome. They must be 18+ and they will need a ticket to attend+1's do not need to be LGBTIAQ+ or be living with/ beyond cancer AccessibilityQueer Britain is fully accessible for wheelchair users. There is a ramp to access the front door and there is a lift to access the downstairs Studio Space (where the event will be held). If your wheelchair is wider than 89.5 cm please contact us or the venue directly.
