Marla Kether brings her six-piece live band and a deep, genre-blurring groove to the stage.
Blending jazz, funk, soul, UK funky and Brazilian influences, the London-born bassist, producer and DJ has carved out a sound that moves effortlessly between the dancefloor and the pocket.
With her new EP Luso, released via Strut Records, Marla enters a new chapter, bringing her diverse musical worlds together with collaborators including Mez, Reek0, Sofia Grant and Brazilian duo Margaridas.
Following acclaimed work with Little Simz, Loyle Carner, Yazmin Lacey and Obongjayar, we’re getting ready for a live set featuring laid-back grooves and dancefloor-ready rhythms.
