EVENT: FREE ME FOREVER PERPETUAL PARTY

Kicking off GIRAF 22, join animator Daniel Volante and moderator Gabby Yu for an artist talk and dance party!
The talk explores the vulnerability of the act of partying and how it encourages us to carry ourselves authentically through play, experimentation, and self-acceptance, one of the main driving forces for the creation of Volante’s short film Free Tonight, made with the Quickdraw Animation Society as part of the Intermediate Animators Production Residency. After the talk, we will transition into the second segment of the event, where we’ll dance our hearts out rave-style with live DJing and remixed animated visuals.
GIRAF passholders get into the party for free, but registration is recommended!
