Matthew Broussard

Comedian Matthew Broussard is known for his sharp wit and self-effacing humour. His comedy is a heady mix of academic intelligence and punchy stand-up that will have you laughing at his jokes about being a failed financial analyst, his love of physics and grammar, and the hardships of looking like a movie villain. With his Cajun charm and love of everything Pokémon, Matthew will win you over!
As an actor, Matthew has been seen in The Mindy Project, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Here Today with Bill Crystal and Tiffany Haddish.
The night will be hosted by the very funny Kyle Berger, and the featured opener will be Laura Sogar, Matthew’s wife, and a comedian in her own right! An ex-competitive swimmer who failed to make the Olympics, Laura thought that since she’s funny, she’d take up improv and stand-up comedy instead. She has been featured in the New York Times and Time Out Magazine, and yes, she has met Michael Phelps.
