For the first time ever, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is coming to The Confluence!
Join us on Thursday, Oct. 29 at the Burnswest Theatre for a screening of Jim Sharmon’s one-of-a-kind 1975 film on the big screen! This iconic cult classic takes newly wed couple Brad and Janet on a strange journey through the deranged house of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, filled with curious characters, sensational songs, and innuendo that will make you shiver in antici………… pation.
Stay for the night, or maybe a bite, and come early to enjoy the festivities! Starting at 6 pm, the concession will be open, the bar will be serving up a themed cocktail, and a photobooth will be ready and waiting to take your picture of your over-the-top Rocky Horror-inspired costumes before the curtains open at 7 pm.
Whether it’s your first time seeing Rocky Horror on the big screen or you’re itching to do the Time Warp again, we’re ready to bring you to another dimension this October!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Audience participation is even more strongly encouraged.
Pre-purchase of prop kits is recommended — limited quantities will be available at the door.

PROPS & OUR THEATRE
The Burnswest Theatre is a small theatre that we have the pleasure of using for movies, performances, school programs and more! However, our little theatre isn’t built to handle large volumes of water, body paint, or food thrown at the screen, nor can we afford to replace the screen or can our small team handle the post-screening clean-up.
It’s not all bad news, though; we’ve still come up with a simplified prop list that will bring plenty of interaction during the show! You are welcome to bring anything on the list, or purchase a prop kit in advance.
PROP KIT CONTENTS (additional purchase, not included with ticket)

Newspaper
Mini water spritzer
Glowstick
Confetti
Noisemaker
Toast (no butter)
Rubber glove
Toilet paper
Playing card
Party hat
Sponge
Instruction list (so you know what to do if it’s your first time)

NOT ALLOWED

Water guns / outside water
Body paint
Hot dogs or prunes
Buttered toast
Lighters, matches or anything flammable

THEATRE RULES
We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience, so please keep the following in mind while at the show:

Please throw items upwards, not at the screen.
Do not throw items at other people.
Do not bring any unallowed items into the building (bags/prop kits are subject to search). You are allowed to bring items on our prop kit list.
No full nudity.
The Confluence reserves the right to stop the film at any time if rules are not followed.

We do however encourage singing and dancing from your seats, getting involved with the props, and participating in our costume contest!
NOTE: This is a movie screening with audience participation and not a live stage show.
