Challenge Bathurst Camping - Powered Sites (Officials Campground)

Challenge Bathurst is one of the annual Mount Panorama Racing Circuit motorsport events and is designed specifically to allow experienced motorsport competitors and owners of performance road registered cars to drive at Bathurst. The 2026 Challenge Bathurst will operate one campground, being the Official's Campground (bottom of the circuit behind the Pit Complex). For recent news and more information on the event please visit www.challengebathurst.com. CAMPSITE SIZES All sites will be line-marked and measure approximately 6m x 8m. If your vehicle and/or accommodation facilities exceed the campsite size you are required to purchase an additional site. Your belongings must remain within the 6m x 8m site and not encroach upon the vacant sites adjacent to your selected campsite. CAMPSITE POWER Access to power is available on all campsites for public sale within the Official's Campground. This is the only campground that will be in operation for the 2026 event. CAMPSITE WATER Campites 3 to 25 do not have access to water. All other sites have access to both power and water. ACCESSIBLE CAMPGROUNDS Accessible campgrounds are located closest to the campground amenities. VOLUNTEER CAMPING If you're a volunteer at the event, please contact the Volunteer Manager to organise your site. CAMPGROUND OPERATING TIMES Campgrounds open at 8am on Wednesday 18 November 2026 and close at 8am Monday 23 November 2026. Access to the Campground will not be permitted before the specified opening time and patrons are to depart the Circuit by specified closing time. CHECK IN: Check-in information will be communicated to campers closer to the event. PAYMENT OPTIONS & REFUNDS Powered sites will be sold in the Officials Campground for $130 per site (booking & credit card fees will apply). No booking will be taken without payment. Payment can be made in the form of credit card and must be received before reservations can be confirmed. Campground sites can only be booked and paid for online. TICKETS The event is free of charge therefore no Event tickets need to be purchased in addition to campsite tickets to gain entry to the campground. No vehicle passes are required to enter the circuit or campground. VEHICLES The Officials Campground has a strict one vehicle, or two motrcycles, per site policy. Any additional vehicles must be housed in the dedicated car parking area. Vehicles parked on campsites not booked by the purchaser will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense. If your vehicle and/or accommodation facilities exceed the campsite size you are required to purchase an additional site. Unregistered motorised vehicles, including race cars, are prohibitied in the campground. PROHIBITED ITEMS NO fireworks, explosions or illegal substances (patrons maybe subject to search) NO couches and lounge chairs NO unregistered motorised wheeled devices NO glass bottles NO donuts, burnouts or burning of vehicles NO animals (excluding companion animals) NO temporary platforms to be erected NO petrol canisters over 5 litres in capacity NO weapons REFUND POLICY Cancellations received in writing (email) by 13 November 2026 will receive a full refund, thereafter no refunds. GENERAL INFORMATION Camping is not permitted at the event anywhere other than the designated campground. Tunnel access: The tunnel has a max height of 3.1m. If your vehicle/caravan exceeds this height, access to the campground will need to be via Mountain Straight during a break in racing (Before racing begins, during the lunch break, or after racing has concluded for the day). Race schedule can be accessed via the Challenge Bathurst website.  There is no limitation on the number of people permitted on a campsite(s). The fee to book a campsite is fixed, regardless of the number of nights you stay. Alcohol is permitted as long as it is not in glass bottles and does not leave the Campground (no wandering around the Circuit with alcohol nor into the Paddock). Campfires are permitted provided there are no fire restrictions in place. Campfires must be contained at all times and stay within the boundary of the allocated campsite. The Campground has sufficient amenities (toilets and showers) for both male and female patrons. General security is rostered at the Circuit 24 hours daily however the Event takes no responsibility for camper’s belongings. Reasonable and orderly behaviour is expected at all times. Police and/or security will enforce eviction for disorderly conduct and other misbehaviour. More information on the Event can be found on the Challenge Bathurst website.
