The Unfaithful Servants have emerged as one of Canada’s must-see acoustic acts, delivering a thrilling modern take on folk, bluegrass, and Americana. Known for explosive instrumentals, rich harmonies, and timeless songwriting, the band has earned a reputation as a powerhouse live draw across Western Canada.
Fronted by mandolinist Jesse Cobb—founding member of The Infamous Stringdusters—and prolific songwriter/guitarist Dylan Stone, the Servants combine world-class musicianship with fearless creativity. Cobb’s résumé includes collaborations with Béla Fleck, David Grisman, Dierks Bentley, and Lee Ann Womack, experience that shapes the band’s sound. The lineup is completed by young fiddle standout Quin Etheridge-Pedden and anchored by bassist Mark Johnson. Their new album Fallen Angel marks a defining moment for the group, earning strong critical acclaim and charting #8 on the International Folk Music Charts and #27 on Canadian Folk Radio.
Praised by Country Music News as “an essential voice in modern Newgrass,” the band has delivered standout performances at major festivals including Vancouver Island MusicFest, Salmon Arm Roots & Blues, and Islands Folk Fest.

This show will be opened by a set from Calgary's own Smoking Toad Revival. With an all-star lineup of seasoned Alberta muscians, The Smokin’ Toad Revival members came together over a shared love and respect for the bluegrass genre. The band seeks to bring the bluegrass movement to Western Canada and show their neighbours the magic of the genre.
