HEAT 5 FEATURING: DECADENCE - EPHEMERA - THE NEW REPUBLIC - THE LOST SQUIRRELS DECADENCE: Formed in 2025, York based 5-piece Decadence is a hard rock band with alternative metal influences, featuring a unique blend of aggressive, punk style riffs with the lyricism and atmosphere of shoegaze. Their refreshingly high-energy live performances are vivacious and sometimes a little erratic and are sure to leave you feeling energised and wanting more. EPHEMERA: Ephemera are a york based midwest emo band looking to play wherever the party is!! THE NEW REPUBLIC: Punchy Riffs & Groovy Licks - and bags of infectious energy. The New Republic bring a breath of fresh air to the indie rock scene guaranteed to get people up and dancing. With a discography described as a “groove-rooted collection of tasty tracks” the band don’t just stop with catchy tunes. “With an exhilarating wall of sound” The New Republic stun audiences with their larger than life performances. THE LOST SQUIRRELS: The Lost Squirrels are a 4 piece indie rock band from West Leeds inspired by bands such as Cherryholt and The North. Semi-finals: 1 - Sat 27th February 2 - Sun 28th February Grand final: Sun 21st March Timings: Heats: Doors 7pm Stage times (running order drawn at random during soundcheck): 7.30pm-8.00pm 8.15pm-8.45pm 9.00pm-9.30pm 9.45pm – 10.15pm Top 2 from each heat go through to the semi-finals. Top 2 from each semi-final go through to the final… plus the judge’s wild card choice! Semi-finals & Final: Doors 6.30pm Stage times (running order drawn at random during soundcheck): 6.50pm-7.20pm 7.35pm-8.05pm 8.20pm-8.50pm 9.05pm-9.35pm 9.50pm-10.20pm You will be asked to vote for your top 2 favourite acts at the end of each night. You will only be able to vote once all bands have finished performing. If you leave before the end of the performances you will lose your vote. This event is 16 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 16 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund.
