The Dance Centre presents the Global Dance Connections series Moonhorse Dance TheatreOlder & Reckless: Vancouver Edition Toronto-based Moonhorse Dance Theatre brings their longstanding acclaimed series Older & Reckless to Vancouver. The evening of three new short works curated by Justine A. Chambers and Allison Cummings explores Toronto/Vancouver collaborative exchanges by three pairs of lifelong artists: Jennifer Dahl and Andrea Nann, Johanna Householder and Margaret Dragu, and Justine A. Chambers and Allison Cummings. The work curated into Older & Reckless is sought out to redefine destructive assumptions about age and dance ability, celebrating artists over 45 who continuously take risks, ask pertinent questions and dig deep with nuance. Duration: 60 minutes Post-show artist talkback May 8 Please note that we are not able to admit latecomers after the show has started, to ensure the safety of the performers. Accessibility: This performance takes place in the Faris Family Studio, our intimate black box theatre space, which is wheelchair-accessible. When booking tickets, patrons who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids should select the ‘accessible’ seat type to ensure seating in the front row which is stair-free: limited spaces available.
