Christmas show - solo acoustic - Pete will perform two sets in the Swiss Cottage. The sets promise to be a mixture of the old and the very new as Pete road tests a new song or two prior to his new album in early 2027. Pete has been riding high since the success of his last album, Houdini and The Sucker Punch, which scooped the AUK album of the year 2024 despite Pete describing it thus: “This one is not very Americana, to be accurate. It’s more sort of poppy stuff. For instance, I’m a huge Smiths fan. I was trying to make some of the chord progressions a little bit more like theirs rather than Neil Young-like. Although Neil Young is a massive influence, so he’ll always creep in there somewhere. But so is Nick Drake. So, I’m trying to keep it a bit more English, just where I’m from, and I like a lot of English music as well as the American.”This is a house concert with no bar but you are welcome to bring your own drinks.
