Le Nutcracker Showgirl Spectacular

This holiday season, step back in time to the grand revue stages of Paris and Las Vegas, where a dazzling chorus of showgirls takes the stage, dripping in feathers, diamonds, and not much more.
The Lolas present the world premiere of Le Nutcracker Showgirl Spectacular, a lavish and delightfully irreverent reimagining of the classical Nutcracker ballet. In this mischievous retelling, Clara's elegant Christmas party becomes a raucous gathering of swingers, until the Rats slink onto the stage in patent leather and eight-inch boots. Clara's journey continues into the dazzling Land of the Showgirls, where she encounters ensembles of high-kicking snowflakes, velvety jungle cats, and whirling flowers in a series of fantastical encounters.
Featuring over 30 professional dancers, Le Nutcracker brings the grandeur of the great showgirl revues to the intimate stage of The Annex. Extravagant costume design and dynamic ensemble choreography set the scene for a theatrical celebration of the beloved holiday classic, brimming with glamour and irreverent humour.
Making its world premiere at The Annex in Vancouver on December 10, 2026, this one-night-only production marks the beginning of a new holiday tradition from The Lolas.
Please note that this performance is intended for audiences aged 19 and older due to mature themes and burlesque content. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except as required by law or in the event of cancellation.
