The Dance Centre presents the Discover Dance! series André Bessette & Josh Cameron André Bessette & Jammin’ Cameron reflect on the inherence of community and self-expression found in both House Dance and Métis Jigging. These dances that originated in underground clubs, kitchen parties, and social gatherings where folks gathered to share joy, movement, and interconnectedness, will now be shared with you in this lively program. Duration: approx 60 minutes including talkback. Please note that latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable break in the performance. Accessibility: Performances take place in the Faris Family Studio, our intimate black box theatre space, which is wheelchair-accessible. When booking tickets, patrons who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids should select the ‘accessible’ seat type to ensure seating in the front row which is stair-free: limited spaces available.
