Turning Point Ensemble presents a shimmering program featuring the music of Tōru Takemitsu along with works by composers who have a connection to his oeuvre. At the heart of this concert is Takemitsu’s And then I knew ‘twas wind (1992) paired along with the piece that inspired it, Claude Debussy’s Sonata for Flute, Viola, and Harp (1915).
